Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Extraordinary Balloons. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of any custom balloon styling services, installations, or decor packages from our business. By accessing our site or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Booking, Retainers, and Payments

  • Retainer Fee: A non-refundable retainer fee of 50% is required to secure your event date on our calendar. No booking is confirmed until this fee is paid and a signed contract is received by Extraordinary Balloons.

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due in full fourteen (14) days prior to your scheduled event date. If booking within 14 days of the event, payment is due in full at the time of booking.

  • Pricing Adjustments: Quotes are valid for 30 days. Extraordinary Balloons reserves the right to adjust final pricing if your venue layout, delivery conditions, or design scope changes significantly after the initial consultation.

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Client Cancellations: If you cancel your event more than 14 days before the date, your non-refundable retainer fee can be applied to a future booking with Extraordinary Balloons within 365 days, subject to our calendar availability. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event forfeit all payments made.

  • Rescheduling: Extraordinary Balloons will accommodate one (1) date change free of charge if requested at least 14 days in advance, pending calendar availability. Subsequent date changes will incur a $100 rescheduling fee.

3. Weather, Outdoor Installations, and Liabilities

  • Outdoor Installations: Balloon decor outdoors is highly unpredictable due to sun, wind, temperature changes, and rough surfaces. Extraordinary Balloons does not guarantee the lifespan of any outdoor installation.

  • Extreme Weather: Heat can cause balloons to expand and pop; direct sun can dull balloon finishes; wind can twist structures. If extreme weather (heavy rain, high winds, lightning) is forecasted, Extraordinary Balloons reserves the right to move the balloon installation to an indoor alternative at the venue. No refunds will be given due to weather-induced design alterations.

  • Damage After Delivery: Once we finish installing the decor and leave the premises, Extraordinary Balloons is no longer responsible for popped, deflated, stolen, or damaged balloons.

4. Safety and Environmental Care

  • Choking Hazard: Balloons can pose a choking hazard to children and pets. Adult supervision is required around balloon decor at all times.

  • Balloon Releases: In alignment with environmental safety practices and local Virginia community guidelines, Extraordinary Balloons does not support or provide balloon releases. All of our designs are securely weighted down or attached to static points. Clients agree not to intentionally release any balloons into the atmosphere.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any legal actions arising from our services must be handled within the appropriate courts of Virginia
